Player's Name: flyy Other Characters: Luc and Danielle Contacts: PM this account or my admin account yo Random Fact: I'm listening to Blackmore's Night?
Name: Lyeyden Mykell d'Amorele Alias: Lyey Age: eighteen Birthday: february 1 Gender: male Species: human Social Class: poor little gypsie Job/Position: performer, contortionist Sexual Preference: homosexual
Hair: Lyeyden has only cut his hair a number of times since the tragedy that killed his family. His hair is tawny brown, and it has a natural wave to it. Currently it reaches to the middle of his back and is usually a tangled mess. In the summer his hair lightenes to a dark gold in places, and in the winter it darkens to a light brown. Eyes: greenish hazel Height: 5'10" Weight: around 122 lbs
Due to being considered part of a minority, a mostly disliked minority, Lyeyden is considerably guarded around anyone who isn't Gypsy. He's heard stories of Gypsies abused, killed, tricked by the locals, and he's quite afraid of becoming one of those victims. When around his "own people" Lyeyden is lively, fun-loving, adventurous, impulsive, and mischievous. He enjoys the time he spends while at the caravan, dancing, singing, eating cheap but tasty meals.
This being said, he is not closed minded to the point where he can't grow to trust a "white person." He wishes to trust them, and is almost sad that most of them give him reasons not to. When he gets attached to someone, he is quite loyal. On the other hand, Lyeyden can also become quite jealous when it comes to that person. This has to do with his lower social status and him thinking himself easily replaced, disposable.
Since their birth, Lyeyden and his twin Felicite were very close. They very rarely left each other's side, and they learned and grew quite happily with their parents. The d'Amorele family lived comfortably on their estate in France. The twins' parents were involved with a group that had revolutionary ideals, and due to this, one day, assasins were sent to silence them forever.
To this day, Lyeyden regrets having gone out to play without his precious twin, for he would never see him again after that tragic day. Lyeyden saw a glow and some dark smoke come from where he knew the estate stood, so he ran toward his home, only to find it in flames. In a panic, he ran for the nearest village, knowing that he needed to find help. In the village, he was recognized, but due to his age he was not taken seriously.
A merchant took pity upon him, and thinking him to be an orphan --which he in fact was by that point-- took him in for the night. The merchant had to sedate the poor boy in order to help him sleep. The next day the merchant and Lyeyden went up to the mansion, only to find a pile of ash and rubble. The merchant then decided to take Lyeyden in permanently; he needed a hand with his merchandise as it was, and Lyeyden was more educated than a boy the merchant could pick up off the street.
Lyeyden, believing himself to be without family or home, went with the merchant. They traveled through Europe for a little over a year before the merchant decided that Lyeyden was more trouble than he was worth. The boy had become withdrawn, quiet, and at times quite irritable.
They ended their travels together in England, where Lyeyden was handed over to a group of traveling Gypsies. While at first he was used as a servant, a woman who found him particularly pretty, decided to take him under her wing. She taught him their ways, and soon the Gypsie children considered him trustworthy enough to play with.
He was taught to cook, dance, and perform in general. Lyeyden was also taught how to steal. Many of the children would wander into London and pick pockets, bringing their bounty back to the caravan. He grew up like this, fairly happy, though the family he believed to be dead never left his heart.
Now he performs for coin rather than picking pockets, and is quite loyal and protective over the large family that'd taken him in. The caravan is located further outside the city now, but he tried to visit regularly, bringing back coin and food, as well as news from London.
