No New Posts && GRAND PLAZA

The hustle and bustle of the marketplace is quite a sight to see. Every day, citizens walk through looking at the stands and shops set up. Many trade shops such as tailors, bakeries, and black-smiths are open for business. Stacked on top of the shops are homes for the families who work there, and many shops that have been shut down have turned into small homes for those who can afford them. Most commonly, the residences are the working and merchant class.

No New Posts && ST. JAMES CHURCH

This old establishment is a favorite among many classes. Although seating is arranged according to social status, everyone is welcome to hear the sermons. There is an elaborate graveyard in the back which is the site of many tombs and graves. Poorer people may also seek refuge in the church which doubles as a homeless shelter and serves to help those who cannot help themselves.

No New Posts && BRYTON THEATRE

The Bryton Theatre is home to artists of all types. It's a well known establishment that attracts many types of people to it. The best seats are reserved for the best customers, and the worst seats are not really seats at all- rather standing areas for those who can not afford to pay. Fully equipped with two stages: indoor and outdoor, there is never a need to have to rebuild sets. Some performers have it better than others when their careers skyrocket due to crowd or patron popularity. In quite a few productions, the Bryton Theatre returns to the old style of the Globe Theatre, casing only males, even in cases of female roles. To those who know who to ask, they will tell you the darker side of the Bryton Theatre and how it doubles as a brothel as long as you have the funds.

No New Posts && WINDSHIRE STATION

Windshire station is London's first and famous train station. It's been in operation for over a decade and serves many purposes including transporting people and goods between long distances. It's hustle and bustle constantly. Waiting areas and train compartments are separated by class. The trains themselves have nice, comfortable, luxurious furnishings for those wealthy enough to pay, but those not of high status get the short end of the stick, as always.

Board Description
&& CENTRAL LONDON
Central London is one of the most popular destinations for travelers because it is home to London's Grand Plaza marketplace and some of the greatest entertainment to be found in the Bryton Theatre. It's a city that never seems to sleep. Shops are known to stay open late, and the theatre performances carry on into the early morning. There is never a lack of something to do. The residents, mainly the working class and merchants, have to quickly grow accustomed to the noise level in order to ever have a chance at a peaceful sleep. However, you will find nobles and the poor in London, for it's truly a gathering place for all. Many a person will come to London, hoping to find his or her fame and glory, but most will find themselves shunned to the East End. Many shops do not offer room for growth; they are family owned with the ownership passing down generation to generation. But, that's not to say that the wicked and cunning may be unable to find a way to work around this. Some artists will find their home at the theatre working as understudies, cast members, or constructing the settings. Only a luck few make it to the top and have the city's recognition. The majority of the population fades into the background, continuing on with their daily lives and menial tasks. The City of London is unforgiving, yet to its citizens, it is home.
