So I figure since we're all on a Victorian era site, it might be a good idea to share resources for information or just interesting stuff. You never know what inspiration you might find! Here are a few of my favorite resources: The Victorian WebTons of articles on practically every aspect of Victorian life. It's pretty easy to navigate and well-organized, though some articles might be too specific to be particularly useful. Still really interesting, though, especially if you're into the art, literature, or philosophy of the time period. Lee Jackson's Dictionary of Victorian LondonLiterally almost anything you might want to know about life in 19th century London, you can find here. There's a lot of excerpts from primary sources and statistics to be found, which are cool, and really give a good idea of what life was like at the time. Fuck Yeah, Victorians! Tumblr BlogMostly pictures here, with the occasional interesting trivia tidbit. There are a lot of pictures of advertisements and fashion plates and even the occasional recipe, which are interesting, and also a lot of Victorian photography. It's not a very good for research, obviously, but it's fun to browse and could be pretty inspiring. Fair warning, though, the occasional NSFW image does get posted.
