Player's Name: Lexy Other Characters: Klaus Contacts: PM. Random Fact: get drunk off of soda.
Name: Enric Gray Stravos. Alias: Gray. Stravos. Enric. Rick. Age: 21. Birthday: September 01. Gender: Male. Species: Vampire. Social Class: Noble. Job/Position: Politician. Sexual Preference: Heterosexual.
Hair: A dark brown, with a sophisticated cut. His hair is usually parted on the right side, styling his bangs off to the side. Enric rarely changes his style of hair, unless he decides to keep it unkempt. Eyes: Light green. Height: 6'1" Weight: 140 LBs.
Like any political figure, there is a face that he shows the public. It is the type of personality that he keeps up the most. He comes off as a very responsible person, as well as intellectual; the type of a person someone would go to if they needed an answer to a problem. Although he isn't exactly helpful, he is a good source to come to when someone feels threatened or endangered (applied to the vampire society). His personality is a little heavy, due to the fact that he always takes things a little too seriously. There are certain subjects that Enric finds inappropriate to laugh about, and he will let you know. However, when Enric does have his guard down, he does find some humor in some things. But being in the environment that he was raised in, there was little time to explore a care free lifestyle.
Since he was raised to become a leader, he feels obligated to certain duties. If his alliances or family are in jeopardy, he will step up to the plate to offer his protection. He never gives a second thought about killing someone, when his reputation is put on stake. There also appears to be something a little off about Enric, like he can't control himself when he gets angry. Perhaps growing up on violence worked against him in that way, causing him to a short fuse when people get aggressive. In a way, knowing that he can snap someone in half, he tries to keep his hands to himself. There is always a chance that he might accidentally kill someone. If he finds a person whining too badly, he isn't afraid to be a jackass. Enric is probably the last person to go to, when someone is feeling mournful. He believes that there is no time to cry.
Enric's thought process is skewed. There is a part of him that wants to be soft and a little empathetic, but his pride over takes him. He secretly wishes that he could have had that close connection with his mother, and misses her company. Sometimes he believes that his mother hates him for what he has become, and some days he would probably agree with her. Enric had become like Mikhail, not the like the sweet gentleness that was Selene. It appeared as though Mikhail had taken everything from his mother, thus he finds himself in a position to defend her against him. The older that Enric gets, the braver he becomes. Eventually, he will be able to stand up against his father and become less like him, or so he believes.
Some part of him wishes that Juliet won't come to despise him. It has been years since he had anyone to confide in. He has yet to figure Juliet really out, and prays that the human world didn't wash her away. Perhaps his sister could give him life.
Enric Gray Stavros was born to a royal bloodline of vampires. His father Mikhail and Selene Stavros practice traditional royal methods, Mikhail and Selene being siblings – as their parents did the same. Thus, it was a blessing that Selene bore a pair of royal vampire twins: Enric and Juliet Stavros. With the royal system being close to that of a humans, Selene was going to train Juilet with her royal duties where Mikhail was going to focus on Enric. However, due to a rebellion against the royal sector of the vampire world, attempts of assassination were made on the Stavros family. To secure that the lineage would go on, Mikhail and Selene made a contract with a rare, special vampire who knew a technique to suppress vampiric nature as well as memories.
With the use of Enric's blood, Juliet's identity was erased and she was declared, “human.” Selene took the absence of her daughter's absence the worse, which led to her dotting constantly on Enric with the absence of his twin. At first, it was difficult for Enric to deal with his sister's absence. Having been around his twin the entire time, it felt like he had lost apart of himself. It was something he had realized, at the age of four, that she was his other half. Enric and his mother spent a lot of time together, using each other as a means to get rid of the gap that was their family life without Juliet. Soon, Mikhail stepped in, pulling Enric and his mother away from each other. He didn't want his son to get soft, not when it came to the political world of vampires – more so, now that their family was in danger.
Enric had been pulled away from affection entirely, cast in a world with two faces. By following his father and listening to his advice, he had learned that the world was a cruel place. There would be meetings among the royal family, their topics ranging from proposals to form an army. With Enric always in his father's shadows, he was behind the scenes and knew that there was treachery – even among other royal families. Mikhail exposed this to Enric at a very young age, so that when the male got older he would learn to place mistrust in everyone he had met. Certain families would make smaller alliance amongst each other, just in case agreements and treaties fell through. There was always a war within a war when it came to the vampire society.
Unlike his sister, Enric had little contacts with humans. He was forced to live among vampires only, even his tutor was one. Although he was isolated from the world, he grew up fast. Everything there was to learn about the world, he had shoved down his throat by his tutor and Mikhail. He had seen cold blooded murders happen, torture ensue, and the delicacy of humans all by the age of six. Mikhail never spared Enric his innocence. The training that Enric had to go through was hands on. He was taught to defend himself from physical and mental invasion, and was forced to kill humans – other vampires – all with his bare hands, sometimes even knives or his own physical strength. The trauma on his young mind was inevitable, to the point where he shunned any physical touch. This made the rare times Selene had time with her son difficult on the two.
There was no time to make friends, to experience a fulfilled childhood. He was made into a politician, a ruthless killer. By submerging Enric into adulthood, he had gained a sense of entitlement. He knew that he had an advantage going through all that he did, it had made him stronger. If something displeased Enric, it was as good as being on the Stravos' bad side. Although Enric had gained access to more power as he grew, intervening in his father's politics, he does not come off as arrogant. Beneath Enric's cold exterior is an intellectualism which allows him to see the shades of gray; with Mikhail's help he was able to get over the “black” and “white” of the world. This developed Enric's mentality: there is a reason for everything.
At the age of 14, Enric finally made somewhat of a friend. It was another boy from a royal vampire family, the Sparrows. There was an oddity about the relationship, their games a bit morbid. They spent most of their time fighting, but they both shared a plethora of conversations. It wasn't until one day that the boy irritated Enric so badly, that he ended up killing him by draining all of his blood. In fear, he ran to his father immediately. Mikhail knew what Sparrow's death would have meant if the family found out, so they were forced to hide the body. The Sparrow family never knew of Enric's offense, and it is a secret he must take with him to the grave. In a way, it haunts him the most because it was his first friend. Ever since that day, he refuses to make real connections.
When Enric was nearing adult hood, reality was starting to set in. He was close to coming to a position that warranted most of his attention, but he knew that he could never secure his 'throne' if he didn't have someone by his side. Due to the Stravos' long family tradition, he felt a little wronged. From his point of view, the parents who preached down to him, had not fulfilled their duties. Enric inquired about the lack of a sister to his father, only to be reminded that he had a sister. Over the years of being forced fed his position, he had forgotten that he had a sister at all. The idea of his sister left him in slight shackles, the idea of getting close to someone made him sick. But he had to go through with it. Mikhail and Selene always had someone giving reports on his sister Juliet.
Enric took it upon himself to be in charge of Juliet's information from now on. After all, due to how he was raised, he saw his sister as a liability. She was property to him, as well as a tool that needed to be used. He had forgotten how fond he had been of her when he was little, now it was only replaced by a sadistic hunger. To secure his spot in the royal aristocracy, he needed to gain Juliet back. With the numbers of the supernatural race beginning to dwindle, bringing Juliet over to the vampire side was in his best interest. Although hunters were starting to die out as well, the Stravos family got wind that they were suspecting vampiric activity. Due to Juliet's condition, Enric felt that she might be exposed due to a betrayal from some of the other royal bloodlines.
As a noble and someone who partakes in the human socialite, humans are starting to wonder when Enric Stravos will take a wife. Although he has many offers, he decided that he would court his sister. After all, to the humans they wouldn't know they were siblings -- even if the two looked awfully alike.
